Akudo Ejelonu is a Nigerian-born, East Coast-raised stand-up comedian, sketch writer, improviser—and everyone’s favorite cool friend. Insightful, razor-sharp, and refreshingly original, she delivers comedy that’s as thought-provoking as it is hilarious. With low-key charisma and a gift for fresh perspective, she’s performed across the U.S. and internationally at notable festivals and venues.

She’s one half of the producing duo behind the Laff Hour Variety Show and the creator of Hey Girl Hey—an all-women-of-color sketch comedy production that debuted at the New York Comedy Festival. Most recently, she hosted and opened for America’s Got Talent finalist Don McMillan and musical comedian Kristin Key on her sold-out comedy tour.

When she’s not producing shows or hopping between stages, Akudo shares stories of strange encounters in theaters, clubs, and occasionally at questionable bus stops. And when she's truly off the grid, she’s probably dodging her nieces and nephews. (Mum’s the word.)

Find her on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook—if she’s not already making you laugh in person.
